Wales 1-2 Denmark
Kath Morgan
Former Wales captain on BBC Radio Cymru
Jess Fishlock won't want to be replaced now, if Wales are still in this game you'll have to drag her off the pitch.
That is some strike from Jess Fishlock, who cut across the ball from 20 yards out and watched at is swerved beyond the dive of Lene Christensen.
Fishlock's celebration showed what her 37th Wales goal meant - and on the touchline Gemma Grainger was animated too.
It looked for a while as though this game might run way from Wales, but they are right back in it now.

Wales 1-2 Denmark
Ouch. Soon after that equaliser, Jess Fishlock's 37th goal for her country, the midfielder goes down under a challenge. It looks painful as she hobbles to the sidelines but is soon back on her feet and back on the pitch.

Nia Jones
Former Wales international on MOTD Wales
Listen to Jess Fishlock's roar never mind the roar of the red wall!
Fishlock cheatcode activated for Wales again, brilliant turn from Carrie Jones and you're begging Fishlock to hit it and boy does she!
That's why she's still so important for this side, one of those X factor players.

Jo Price
Former Wales goalkeeper on BBC Radio Wales
It's brilliant from Jess Fishlock. It's well played from Kayleigh Green as well.
She's had to come on and show why she should be playing. It's a great move and a good run from Carrie Jones.
A bit of hope for Wales now.
Jess Fishlock
That is just a stunning goal by Jess Fishlock. Credit goes to Carrie Jones for the early work before Fishlock takes the ball just on the edge of the area, moves it out of her feet before unleashing an absolute pile-driver that gave Lene Christensen no chance.
Game on.

Wales 0-2 Denmark
Wales are nearly punished again though by losing possession in their own half, but the is just too strong for Amalie Vangsgaard and Olivia Clark is able to gather.

Whatever was said in the dressing room at half time seems to have worked for the first two to three minutes of the second half.
Wales have come out with intent and have started how they should have started in the first half. It's much better.
Wales 0-2 Denmark
Kayleigh Green has come out firing and tracks back to win the ball on halfway with a sliding tackle.
Wales 0-2 Denmark
Carrie Jones works a bit of space in the Denmark area but she can't find a team-mate with her as three white shirts are quick to swarm around her.
Wales 0-2 Denmark
Here we go with the second half. Can Wales find a way back into this game?
Wales 0-2 Denmark
Kayleigh Green is a half-time replacement for Rachel Rowe as Gemma Grainger makes an early change.

Going on previous games, I don't think there'll be a huge amount of changes from Gemma Grainger.
Wales are at risk of becoming very predictable to play against, because there are so few substitutions made.
Something needs to change here tonight. There's a very talented bench there.

Wales forward Hannah Cain on MOTD Wales:
"I'm gutted to be injured stood here, devastated to miss the start of the Nation's League as I was really looking forward to this.
"It was a disappointing start. The girls will be looking forward to getting back out there to make things right."

Helen Ward
Former Wales striker on Match of the Day Wales
Right from kick-off Wales didn't look at the races, we have grown into the game after the opening two goals but you can't give a team like Denmark those opportunities.
Despite not having much of the ball Wales have been very loose in possession and have switched off without the ball which is very unlike them.

Katie Sherwood
Former Wales midfielder on Match of the Day Wales
This team has been built on strong foundations defensively, I feel there's too many gaps, allowing Denmark to exploit and get in behind us.
The first goal is from a poor clearance from Ceri Holland and then a reckless challenge from Rhiannon Roberts.

It certainly didn't start the way Wales would have wanted it to.
Five minutes in and conceding a penalty, it's not a position you want to be in against a 12th ranked nation.
Denmark have been absolutely fantastic tonight, but Wales haven't been able to keep retention of the ball.
Wales 0-2 Denmark
That's it for the first half. Some encouraging signs for Wales towards the end of that period but Gemma Grainger has some work to do with her team talk.
Wales 0-2 Denmark
Ceri Holland hits the side-netting in the last moments of the first half after Rachel Rowe's cross is blocked.
The angle was always against Holland though and perhaps going across goal might have been the way to go.

There's Jess Fishlock's quality shining through and that's what Wales need to break up this Danish side, they're so organised.
But also that sums up the half and the week for Wales, that final ball just isn't working.
