Josh Hinds: Truro City sign free-agent striker until end of season

Josh Hinds played for Hull City twice in the 2021-22 season, coming on as a substitute against Bournemouth in the Championship and Everton in the FA Cup

Truro City have signed striker Josh Hinds until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old s the National League South club having left Scottish Championship side Queen's Park.

Hinds, who began his career at West Ham, ed Hull City's academy in 2019 and played two first-team games before being released by the club last summer.

The White Tigers have been in the market for a striker in recent weeks amid 30-year-old Andrew Neal's struggles with injury.

Truro are one place above the relegation zone on goal difference though they have at least three - and up to seven - games in hand on all the other teams in the league.
